My Feelings

Dear Diary,

Today my dad said that we are going to leave The Netherlands.

I do not want to go to that new country. I don't even dare telling my friends!

They would be so sad that I am leaving! I can't imagine leaving the Joppenhof.

It is such a nice school and in it are all my best friends that I am going to miss.

I am very sad to leave my favorite Dutch food and all my neighbor friends.

I will partly like my new country but I am sure it will never be like The Netherlands!!!

I will surely make new friends but I am sure no one will be like the friends I have here!

I will totally miss the Joppenhof ID teachers and all the students.

I just wish I was going to be here for our new school in 2009.

I just wish I could stay here!!!  I just wish I could stay here with all my friends and live with them.

At least I would like to have a friend to come with me in the holidays for 1 week or 2.

Maybe I could ask my parents if some of my friends could come and visit me in the new country I am going to!  

That would be great!!!
